Games Then & Now

Here is a run-down of most of the games I played or still play. Usually I don't have time to play games, but when I do, these are the flavors I usually reach for.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft was a game I had vowed not to play, ever. My best friend and partner eventually convinced me to play, and I never looked back since.

I play a Warlock as a main character, and I usually play with my partner or my girlfriend.

Its truely a fun game, and I play all aspects of it (PvP, PvE, Gold making etc...)

So much to say, so little space, its just fun!

Rise of Nations

Rise of Nations

This game was amazing. I had nice touches from the AoE series as well as the Empire Earth series.

Rise of Nations was the second most played RTs in my collection and its still fun to play.

I always played the Dutch, and I always had the power economy and well funded army, and my tactics made my human opponents cry all day! In a nutshell: hours and hours and hours of fun.

Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto IV

A fun game as usual, but this time I didnt play the entire plat line. I just started it up, got out my cheats and started to collect cars. I know its sad, but I was not happy with the control choices Rockstar made compared to older versions. Handling a car is just atrocious.

Still, the physics in this version are hilarious and fun. They provide hours of fun and for those that just like to steal cars and drive around causing havoc, GTA4 is the best version yet.

My personal opinion, Im still in love with Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

Age of Empires 3

Age of Empires 3

Age of Empires 3, being the most recent installment in the AOE series (at the time of me writing this) is a big change from classic Age of Empires 2 gameplay.

I enjoyed the Germans the most. Ottomans as well. The graphics were simply stunning and it provided for hours of gameplay and obsessive deck reconstruction.

Rise of Legends

Rise of Legends

Rise of Legends was a fun game, it had new concepts (just like Rise of Nations did when it came out) and RoL was simply fun to play.

New strategies were required, and the war scenes were really enjoyable to play and witness.

I never played online, but I did manage to beat the hardest of CPUs quite easily. Whether that was luck or an AI flaw, who knows? I had fun!!
